Bachi ka Janamdin : Revisited

Dear Bachi,

I am really astonished how the time passes by,

Yesterday I guess, I was concerned how to celebrate your birthday , what all to buy ?

Time is travelling with speed of light, I guess, ooh please don't fly,

My little angel who stills behave like a kid, is soon going to marry her guy.

What should I give you in return ?

The fun and the memories we had, I can't pay for them, I need more to earn,

Some things are Priceless in life, thanks Sweetheart for making me this learn,

Life for you, till now has not been a bed of roses, but above all you took a turn.

What I worry about is the time coming ahead,

Without your help at every step of my life, I will be almost dead,

"You won't change ever for me", I hope you remember what you said,

I wish the new person coming in your life, loves you forever, fulfils all your dreams, not just the regular wine and bread.

Your brother is becoming old & will need you at every stage of his life,

I won't change the way we are, I promise even if you select for me the wisest wife,

Thanks to our parents, in life we mostly saw happiness till now, with minimal strife,

Lit up the candles, bring the cake, did we put ribbon on the knife ?

Thanks for being there always for me till date, the leading member of my crew,

I don't know much about people but I believe that soul like you, in today's world are only few,
